Society of Illustrators
Society of Illustrators
On February 1, 1901, a group of nine artists and one advising businessman founded the Society of Illustrators with this credo: "The object of the Society shall be to promote generally the art of illustration and to hold exhibitions from time to time." Since inception, the Society has had a distinguished yet lively history as an active participant in the ever-changing field of illustration. The Society promotes the art of illustration through contributions to community service and student scholarship, annual exhibitions and recognition of achievements in the field. The mission of the society is to promote and stimulate interest in the art of illustration, past, present and future, and to give impetus generally toward high ideals in the art by means of exhibitions, lectures, educational programs, social intercourse, and in such other ways as may seem advisable.

This is the red we've all been waiting for! It is a deep, darker red, but not mahogany in color at all. Of all the reds I have in my collection, this is by far my favorite. One layer is perfect, but as you paint over it again, it remains true to its color, in a darker hue, of course. Thank you TH!

Exceptional quality in Iwata products. Mistreat was literally the only store which carried this particular product on line.
