Colored Pencil Society of America
The Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) was founded in 1990 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to artists over 18 years of age working with colored pencil. With about 1600 members worldwide and over 25 District Chapters in the US, CPSA provides opportunities for colored pencil artists to network. The Society is run by a Governing Board consisting of twelve artists and professionals who volunteer their service to ensure benefits to the membership and the future success of the organization. The Society provides two opportunities for colored pencil artists to exhibit their work. Both exhibitions offer cash awards and are juried to promote the highest aesthetic standards of fine art to the public. CPSA is also one the few art organizations to participate proactively in the development of a standard for their medium. With the increased use of colored pencil for creating fine art, CPSA believed it was crucial to have a standard of light fastness for this medium. Consequently, the organization has conducted ongoing test for colored pencil light fastness since 1991.

This item is certainly not what it used to be. The paper is thinner in the pages. The covers are thinner. They went from 2 zippers to one. Basically the overall quality went down while the price went up. Stall a great biner but very disappointed.

Love all the embossing powders bought at MisterArt. Excellent highlights, used for stamping on Halloween goodie tags, colors were beautiful, just as shown. All products came sealed & delivered, packed carefully. Best prices ! for someone on fixed income, was able to purchase more. Happy Customer, highly recommended

This is the red we've all been waiting for! It is a deep, darker red, but not mahogany in color at all. Of all the reds I have in my collection, this is by far my favorite. One layer is perfect, but as you paint over it again, it remains true to its color, in a darker hue, of course. Thank you TH!
